Ghana Goods works in the following ways:
Stability of Employment – We work with producers on a long term
basis, providing continuous employment for over thirty Ghanaian instrument
makers and apprentices throughout the year. Fair Price – paying
a fair price for the goods enables a living wage, training & apprenticeship
schemes, decent working conditions, buying and repairing of machinery &
tools etc.
Sustainable Resources – Using only soft woods in the making of
all the drums. Investing in reforestation projects. Using trees that have
previously died in bush fires for the keys of the Xylophone.
